The film follows Chris, an introverted young man as he tries to step out of his comfort zone when starting a new job in a pub. His first day is not exactly how he expects when everything that can go wrong, goes wrong. But everything changes when he meets a girl (Rose), whom he immediately falls for. After work, the staff goes back to her house for a party.

 

During the party Chris finds himself having to make a decision when offered cocaine, after seeing how Rose acts around his confident colleague Mike, he decides to take it. Only it has a negative effect on him, leading to him locking himself in the bathroom having a panic attack. Upon leaving the bathroom he notices Rose being sexually harassed by Mike, he confronts Mike trying to protect her. Resulting in Chris lying on the floor, beaten.
