EVAN DAVIES
DIRECTOR / WRITER
Evan is an aspiring Director born and raised in Surrey, England. From a young age, Evan could always be found with a video camera making his own short videos or kneeling in front of the TV obsessing over films. He has had industry experience in post-production learning from an assistant editor on the set of Downton Abbey, and later gaining experience learning all aspects of the post-production process at Molinare in Soho, London. After arriving at university Evan realised his true passion wasn’t in post-production, but it was in directing his own films. Evan wants to use his films to bring light to sensitive subjects, whilst also creating a world the audience can lose themselves within.
CONNOR MULKEIRINS
PRODUCER
Connor is a young filmmaker from Hampshire, England. His love for film was born from acting when he was younger and grew into a passion for the art form. He found his place as a producer at university and felt it was a natural calling due to his communication and leadership skills. He is determined on producing the highest quality film he can with the project Blurred Lines. His dream is to enable others in bringing their visions to life on the big screen.
TOM FILIPE
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Tom is an aspiring cinematographer and camera operator, originally from Portugal and now based in Southern England. Tom developed an interest for photography at a very young age, he then began working with moving images in his last year at high school. With a background working in music videos and short films in the camera department, his experience will help make this film the best it can be. Tom is focused on exploring contemporary life stories and he is determined to bring them onto the big screen in a relatable and sensitive way.
SAM WADE
EDITOR
Sam has been interested in the post-production side of media ever since he started Photography at A Level. It’s here that his passion for the creative arts were sparked. Since this, he has taken a multi-media college course which opened the word of film and post-production to him, cementing his interest in the subject. This has led to him taking up many editing roles since starting university at Southampton Solent and therefore working on the team for Blurred Lines. He Is excited to bring the vision of the director to life, along-side the collaborations of the team as a whole.
RUBY WATERS
SOUND DESIGNER
Ruby’s passion for sound design started with her early interest in music. She developed a good ear through playing in and arranging music for her school bands, quickly using this as an asset when she discovered her school’s film club aged 12. She would use her time in the club to take on ambitious projects like stop motion animation and experimental short films and using sound to bring them to life. Whether it’s creating an ambience or voicing an animated character from scratch, Ruby relishes the chance to help tell stories through sound.
MILLIE ALDRED
PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Millie first became interested in film during her early studies. After visiting 20th Century Fox to see how they market and distribute their films, this passion was enhanced and Millie started studying film at university where she found her enjoyment in Production Design. She is looking forward to the challenge of addressing sensitive subjects through mise-en-scene elements and ultimately bringing the story of Blurred Lines to life.
